business profile

I share three decades of leadership experience as the base to my purpose as a Life Coach, Business Coach, and Strategic HR Management Consultant.

My career began in 1992 when I had completed my theory of a Nature Conservation Diploma and secured a field guide position at a safari lodge in South Africa’s Limpopo province. This gave me insight into the remarkable high-end safari and hotel industries where I spent decades building teams, developing leaders, and creating environments where humans and businesses thrive with mutual benefit.

During the latter decade of my corporate career, I grew an HR department from the ground up, streamlined operations, resolved complex workplace conflicts, and consistently improved employee engagement and retention. My hands-on approach, which is rooted in practical management combined with a genuine care for people, has since helped business units retain key talent while cultivating the next generation of leaders at multiple levels.

Today, I have fully transitioned into coaching and consulting, working full time with clients across a diverse range of industries. With a broad understanding of how different departments should function together for the whole organisation to be successful, the particular strength of turning workplace challenges into opportunities for growth has been highlighted.

Whether supporting individuals through career transitions, guiding teams through a significant change, or helping businesses build stronger and more integrated cultures, my approach remains grounded in one core belief: everyone has their first time for everything, so success comes from mindset as much as ability.

My coaching philosophy stems from the concept of Ikigai and draws on mBIT (multiple Brain Integration Techniques), and the often-underestimated power of common sense. I believe in equipping people with tools you can use long after our work together ends.

Peers and clients have described me as trustworthy, dependable and an authentic leader who holds them accountable to become the best version of themselves. They say my ability to help others succeed isn’t just what I do, it is who I am.

WARREN, THE HUMAN

Family, Giving Back and the Relevance of my Logo

Family. Son, brother, husband and father are some hats I am privileged to wear. I met my wife midway through January 1992 when, out of character, I interrupted her interview to ask if I could introduce myself. We dated for nearly 8 years before we were engaged and were then married in October 2000. We were blessed to work together in several luxury safari lodges with some incredible friends and guests who have become our closest supporters. Once we relocated to Johannesburg we became members of the largest club in the world, parents. Welcoming our two boys to the world in June 2005 and March 2008 were milestones any parent treasures. Now as our youngest navigates the final year of his school, we are preparing ourselves for an empty nest at the end of 2026. I wouldn’t change any of it as the good times and the tougher times all go by in the blink of an aging eye, so they are all to be cherished as special.

Community. Giving back is important to me. Apart from supporting the Sport Climbers in the various gyms and encouraging them during competitions, I am also the Designated Safeguarding Officer for Gauteng. This voluntary commitment to the youth athletes serves to protect them from the scourge of harassment, bullying and intimidation through education, consultation and prosecution.

The phoenix in my logo symbolizes my own evolution — ever rising from one phase to the next with humility, self-reflection and courage. The concept of today’s experiences being the training for tomorrow’s adventures and success has allowed me to gain a positive perspective of challenges being opportunities. This also forms the basis of my approach to leadership and personal growth: empowering others to overcome their personal hurdles to lead with authenticity and empathy whilst being the best version of themselves.
